Public protest opposing the expansion of port botany

To find the protest look for flags and banners on Foreshore Rd, 2nd Beach entrance on left past port as you head towards airport.

The Governments own enquiry recommended against this 60-hectare expansion.  This Labor govt said when Port Botany reached capacity Newcastle Port would be expanded. Why isn't this happening?

More than 50 suburbs, particularly those in South Western Sydney will be impacted if this expansion goes ahead. The Marrickville Greens will be launching their DVD at the protest about the myriad of problems associated with this expansion.
